AerDragon Signs Financing Agreement with China Everbright Bank
(Beijing, 8 October 2021) AerDragon Aviation Partners Limited (“AerDragon”) entered into a facility agreement with China Everbright Bank Co. Ltd, Luxembourg Branch to finance two Boeing 737-800 aircraft on lease to Shandong Airlines, and has drawn in full the senior secured loan.
This transaction represents the first cooperation on a financing between AerDragon and Everbright Bank. This is also AerDragon’s first financing transaction with a Chinese commercial bank. “We are delighted to add Everbright Bank as a new financing partner. As air traffic recovers in many parts of the world, the aviation financing community has become increasingly active.
